Waiver & Terms

Event Waiver

By registering, I acknowledge and agree:

Running and walking events involve risks, including but not limited to injury, accidents, or property damage. Hazards may include uneven ground, rabbit holes, weather, and traffic (some roads remain open). I accept these risks and will follow all marshal instructions.

I confirm I am fit and healthy to participate. If medical treatment is required, I consent to first aid or emergency care and accept responsibility for any related costs.

I consent to the use of my name and photographs or video taken at the Event for promotional purposes (including social media, website and media coverage) without compensation.

I will abide by all event rules and marshal directions. Failure to do so may result in disqualification.

The organisers may alter the course, start times or format if required.

If the Event is cancelled due to adverse weather, natural disaster or for safety reasons, entry fees will not be refunded.

Event Insurance & Refunds: Clyde Classic offers optional XCover entry protection during registration. XCover gives you the chance to apply for a full refund if unforeseen events disrupt your plans and prevent you from taking part, subject to XCover’s terms and conditions. All claims are managed directly by XCover. Protection must be added at the time of entry and cannot be added later. Please note, as an event we do not provide refunds to those who have not purchased XCover entry protection at the time of entry.

Transfers: If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your entry. Transfers are permitted up until 18th October 2026. A $25 admin fee applies and is processed through Eventplus. No participant transfers will be accepted after 18th October 2026. If you are unsure of the process, please contact [email protected] for support.

I accept responsibility for my own gear and valuables. A drop-bag service is provided and while organisers will take reasonable care, they are not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged items.

Participants under 18 must have consent from a parent or guardian.
