The Clyde Classic 10km is a scenic loop perfect for runners and walkers ready for a rewarding adventure. Starting at Clyde Primary School, the course winds through the charming streets of historic Clyde before heading up toward the Clyde Dam. Take your time and soak in the views as you cross New Zealand’s largest gravity-fed dam, with sweeping views in every direction.

From there, the route takes you along the river track back toward town continue along the riverside trail for another 3.5km till a turn puts you on the hidden highway, an unused sealed road through the rocky thyme fields  

Then it’s back to town, crossing the iconic Clyde Bridge and back to the school.

From start to finish, it’s a 10km packed with stunning scenery and local charm
