Kids will race a fun 3.5km course, most of it will be off road so please make sure they have suitable footwear (no jandals, sandals or crocs unless they’re used to running in them!). 

Start time is 10.30am, 19th October, registrations are open from 7am.

We’ve aimed to keep entry costs affordable and there will be no finisher medals for participants in the Schools Cup. However, if you register before 6th October, your child will receive a personalised race bib that they can keep as a memento!

This race follows a team format. The top 3 boys and girls from each school Year will score points for their school (3 points for 1st, 2 points for 2nd, and 1 point for 3rd). The school with the highest overall points will win a $2,500 prize, generously sponsored by Contact Energy.

It’s a fun way for kids to race together and represent their school for a chance to take home a major reward!

For our first year, the prize can only be won by the Primary Schools below but you can still enter your child if they attend another school, please select the “other school” option when registering.
